Below, you'll find a few segments of works I have written and still could be revising. To date, I have written fifteen short screenplays that were produced, two addional 30 pages short screenplays, and three feature length screenplays. Though the numbers suggest my focus is on short form, I actually spend much more time on writing feature films. Samples for feature film screenplays are available upon request.

COMPOSITIONS
Writing music for me has always been nothing more than a stress reliever, and overall delightful experience I take part in almost every day. I am honored to have written for student short films and for client based projects. Here, I have provided a few of my own compositions, mostly from student projects.

Tuesday in March
Written by Jeremy Tatara
This piece, written in March 2018, explores a haunting piano melody accompanied by a Puerto Rican Cajon. The piece embodies feelings of solitude and uncertainty.
BLACK - Original Score
Written by Jeremy Tatara
Black's music was written originally with a focus on mood creation and symbolism. The music for Black features an airy instrument known as the Erhu. I selected the Erhu as its sound frequently has spaces and gaps. I did not want a 'full' sound. As the concept of the video is often vague and abstract, its understanding can be hard to grasp. Thus, I wanted the music to emote the same thoughts. With that said, I still wanted the music to move dynamically sometimes slow and sometimes fast. This represented the concept of Black in the sense that there are many ways to think about the abscense of light.
Raven
Written by Jeremy Tatara
This piece was written after being inspired by watching a raven outdoors in the grass while it was raining. The piece does not follow a story of the raven, but still carries a story throughout the instrumentation. The melodies move from various brass to woodwind based instruments and even into the strings for a circular resolution.
Teddy - Original Score
Written by Jeremy Tatara
Teddy's music was written originally over the course of a couple days. In creating the music for Teddy I challenged myself by playing music to the film as I watched it. During this time I was able to build the music based on how the visuals made me feel and by how I wanted the visuals to make the audience feel. The music is supposed to feel broken but simple as is the story.
